A super quality Art Decosterling silver spirit/liquor measure, often termed a Jigger. It is hallmarkedfor London 1939 with the makers mark being JM&Co and also stamped BME, possibly the retailer. It has a simple stylish design and is made from thick gauge silver so feels good to hold. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the inside is perfectly clean and useable with just light scratches from use. It measures a touch under 2 inches (4.8cms) tall by the same wide and is heavy for its size weighing 65 grams. It holds 2 floz (a double) filled just below the rim. A nice quality well made piece.
