Up for auction is this gorgeous Libtatry Bureau Quartersawn Oak Library Dewey Decimal Card Cabinet that came from a library in Maine that was established in 1905. It is the opriginal cabinet from that libraryand is one of the most gorgeous pieces I have seen of this era. This superb piece features twenty drawers along with the index card holders needed to start a file. It holds 3 by 5 cards. The slides inside the drawers are in clean working order too. The tabs on the front of the drawers are Copper and Brass. The stamp at the top front states "Library Bureau Sole Makers". The finish on this lovely cabinet is in excellent condition.
