You are bidding on an outstanding example of turn of the century oak furniture at it's best. This is the library that all of the collectors are looking for and they are very hard to come by nowadays. Most of the table is quartersawn or tiger oak, especially breathtaking is the top. Please see photos. The 4 large fluted legs look like pillars holding the heavy top. The separator has a lovely curve to it with fluted detailing on the edge of it to accentuate the fluted legs. The drawer has the wonderful original cast brass handle which has been cleaned just enough to just pop against the golden streaks of the tiger oak. This library table has been professionally restored to prestine condition with a medium oak finish, not overfinished. It has an actual handrubbed finish something hard to find in today's world. This libary table has many uses, including as a desk in your kitchen, vanity or desk in a bedroom, sofa table in the living room or study, or as a hall table in a grand foyer in an older home. Dimensions: 40 inches across, 28 inches deep, and 29 inches tall. The drawer is 4 inches deep by 19 inches across on the outside, inside dimension are a little smaller. The drawer is also quite deep. I will be shipping this table Greyhound from the Marietta Georgia terminal to the Greyhound terminal closest to your location for one price.
