Quartz, Scheelite & Muscovite mica (Fluorescent) - Location: Yao Guang Xi, Hunan Province, China. Miniature. we have a nice combination specimen of quartz with scheelite and muscovite mica. The Quartz is well formed and sharp along with a glassy luster. The scheelite forms as small tan0yellow to dart brow octahedral crystals perched on the quartz and on crystals of muscovite mica. The scheelite will fluoresce a bright bluish-white color under short wave ultraviolet light (see photo 6). Great aesthetic matrix specimen of tan-brown scheelite crystals on a matrix of fluorite crystals. The fluorite crystals are very gemmy and are a pale Green color. The scheelite crystals will fluoresce a bright bluish white under short wave ultraviolet light. The scheelite crystals have a minor "contact" area on the backside of the crystals (perfect on the front).
