This week I have been particularly fortunate to purchase a beautiful grouping of vintage English tea cups and saucers, each listed with no reserve and a LOW opening bid! Teacups are my specialty so keep an eye on define26 as I add new listings weekly! To see all of my items please . This auction is for a c. 1950s Queen Anne, fabulous, Lady Eleanor pattern, pink lace, gold chintz, pink rose and parrot tulip, English bone china cup and saucer which are: in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs each piece rings clearly when pinged the gilding is in excellent condition throughout. The cup measures 5 in. wide including the handle and is 2 ¾ in. tall; the saucer is 5 ½ in. in diameter. This set features a gorgeous, all-over gold chintz leaf pattern overtop a pink, lace type background all surrounding Dresden type cameos of pink rose and mauve parrot tulip blooms. The cup and saucer shapes are also very fancy with gently scalloped edges, and undulating shapes. Unusual to find this pattern on this particular cup and saucer shape - I am also offering the pattern on a different cup shape this week!
