You are viewing Handmade 18th Century Reproduction Queen Bedroom Set in solid Cherry. This is a superior quality and amazing handcrafted set. This set is for the quality conscious buyer. This beautiful set was handcrafted by Norman Jernigan of Dunn, North Carolina. This set has four pieces. The set includes a Tall Chest with Chippendale bracket feet. The Chest measures 63" H x 39.5" W x 21.25" D. It has 10 graduated drawers dove-tailed. The two side tables that each measure 24”L x 14 1/4”W x 32 1/2” H which is appropriate to the height of the bed. Each has one drawer and decorative cutouts at legs. The feet of the side tables match the feet of the bedstead called Inside Taper. The pulls are brass. See flyer (will email pdf if requested) that was kept depicting Norman Jernigan Pencil Post Beds. The bedstead Is H 85” including the finial. The headboard is fine finished on both sides. The flyer shows Pencil Post E. which he calls Inside Taper. The head board is drawing H-1. The beds are assembled with mortice tenon and bolt construction for the bedstead. Which are the sturdiest method devised. Iron brackets support the box spring. The two night stands have the same leg shape as the bed. Norman used solid cherry, no veneers and included the bottoms and backs of drawers and cabinet with cherry!!!
