Outstanding royal collectible.Wonderful gift tag handwritten by Queen Maud of Norway to General Sir Dighton Probyn. General Probyn was a close friend and equerry to Maud's parents, King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra of Great Britain. The Queen has signed her name and her husband's christian name of Charles (Prince Charles of Denmark).The tag is dated on the reverse Xmas 1923. A very RARE item of a personal nature from King Haakon VII & Queen Maud. Pics of Sir Dighton & the King & Queen are just for illustration. Tag measures Approx. 1 x 3 1/2 inches.
