QUEEN CUTLERY SPECIAL FACTORY ORDER MOUNTAIN MAN WITH CRIMSON BONE HANDLES HAND MADE IN TITUSVILLE, PA, USA One of the most popular knives out t is the Queen Mountain Man lockback trapper.It's well-known for its toughness, good looks, superb action and rugged masculinity. Only 50 of these were made a few years ago for Cumberland Knife Works.The fit & finish are Schatt & Morgan quality. They're SOLD OUT and no longer available. This one features crimson worm groove bone scales.But what makes this knife so unique is the steel.Queen usually uses D2 or 420HC for their knives, but not this one.It's forged from 1095 carbon steel , which is one of the toughest steels around.It's also renowned for it's ease of sharpening.The single locking blade is etched MOUNTAIN MAN 1095 CARBON STEEL.It's tang stamped with the Queen "Q" logo.The opposite side is stamped QUEEN CUT CO TITUSVILLE, PA.The liners and pins are brass, and bolsters, lanyard hole and shield are all nickel silver.This gorgeous knife is a man-sized 4 1/2" when closed.The action is superb! The blade barks with authority when opened. As with all Queen knives, this was handmade in America .This knife is BRAND NEW, UNUSED and UNSHARPENED. It ships with the original box.
