QUEEN VICTORIA DIAMOND JUBILEE SHEFFIELD SILVER INK WEL Presented is a commemorative Sheffield silver plate ink well made in honor of Queen Victoria�s Diamond Jubilee by Boardman, Glossop & Company in 1897. The piece is in the form of a castle turret, and it has a fabulous applied cast decoration on the front of the queen and two British flags over the dates of her 60 years as queen. The turret has bands of design along the top and bottom. The piece has a glass liner. The underside bears a maker�s mark for Boardman, Glossop & Co. This piece is in great condition, especially for its age. T is hardly any wear to the silver plating. T is a very small dent to the base which can be seen in the first photo on the left hand side. T is also a scratch to the surface one brick or stone below the tip of one of the flags, also visible in the first photo. Otherwise superb condition with only very minor surface wear. T are no major dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs. The piece measures 3 3/4 inches in diameter and is 4 inches tall.
