A lovely solid silver spoon commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897. The top of the handle displays a bust of Queen Victoria, which is visible both from the front and the back of the spoon. If you are intending to bid, please read the Postage/Insurance section below before proceeding. Hallmarks : The spoon is English sterling silver hallmarked for London 1896 (lion Passant, Date Letter w, Anchor). The makers mark is TB, which refers to the silversmith T Beardsmore. Dimensions: It is 9.5cm long and weighs 6g. Condition: The spoon is in fine condition, with no dings, splits or repairs. The bowl is a bit dirty. Postage/insurance : Please note that due to the fact that the item is solid silver, it will NOT be insured unless you choose the Special Delivery option (or if being sent abroad, International Signed For).
