Album Meet Frederick A. Schroeder (1910-1988). He operated a large photography studio at 163-18 Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica New York for many years. He also lived on 168 Street in Jamaica NY. Because of his expertise he was hired by the D.A. office in Queens County NY to take official photographs of CSI scenes. Thick and heavy a little more than 2 inches in diameter. This badge dates from the 1950s and was in use into the 1960s when he retired. He took it with him and moved to Florida. An uncommon badge with full provenance.
