Scarce original Insert for the 1942 George Sanders Film Noir. Appropriately titled as this Nazi Noir mystery is set in a library. This Insert displays in Fine condition. Originally folded, I purchased it in a frame w it remained for years. Having just taken it out of the frame I found that the insert had been mounted on a very thin piece of backing. Thicker than a normal paper-backing which is common to inserts and 1/2 sheets, this looks more like 1/32 or 1/64 cardboard. The poster has some scratches and flea bites but almost all are in the boarder area and are evident in the new pictures I've added. Also the insert will need to be shipped flat due to the backing which is fairly firm. Compelling graphic design on this one with Saunders seemingly coming out of the poster, gun at the ready. Saunders' odd facial expression gives the disturbing doppleganger appearance of a schizm within, as if each side of his face represents two separate emotions...or two different people! Poster is sold w/o frame.
