Quincy Tahoma's "The Last Jump" Limited Edition Print. #450/1000. This beautiful, limited edition print measures 17" x 24 1/2" and is in pristine condition. A very small ruffling of the paper in the upper left corner of the print extends approx. 1/2". However, this would be covered when matted and framed, and does not affect the rest of the print. This print is part of a portfolio of 5 Tahoma prints that were put out in 1972 in an edition of 1,000. The following information is taken from the information contained in the portfolio: "Quincy Tahoma depicted the time-honored legends of his people, the Navajo, with a vigor and brilliance which have rarely been equalled. Born on the reservation, Tuba City, Arizona, in 1921, he went to New Mexico in 1932 w he attended the United States Indian schools in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. His exceptional talent was apparent as early as the sixth grade. He was singled out by Dorothy Dunn Kramer, the guiding force of the Indian School of Santa Fe, as one of the most promising pupils and he studied under her for four years, graduating in 1940.
