RARE QUING DYNASTY ANTIQUE (EARLY 19th CENTURY, POSSIBLY OLDER) CARVED JADE SNUFF BOTTLE, 100% GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC: An authentic scholar's treasure from my personal collections. A superior stone of pale celedon, whites, and browns. Carved by a master with precise placements of detailed features according to coloration. Heavy and very thick walls with hollowed interior and circular opening at end. The carving, of a lively formed mythical creature is highly detailed. Clear facial features, claws on both arms and legs, spinal detail, naturally occurring brow coloration falls expertly into place over the body. An exceptional and rare example of jade artistry. Flowing floral and vine forms beneath the creature and circling the opening. One of the heaviest snuff bottles I have encountered for size. Mint condition finely crafted stopper fits tightly into open end. Silk storage box included. Houses like Christie's and Sotheby's are selling such pieces for small fortunes.
