August 6: A wonderful, generous ebayer has shared the following information with me. I am posting it to make sure you read it: Hi RhodaRose. You might improve your auction results with the following information. This design of this bowl was created in 1920 by the master Rene Lalique and is titled Vigne, Striee. It was not produced after 1947. It is shown in Marcilhac, the Lalique collector's bible, on page 727. Good Luck with your auction. Conligere This small bowl by R Lalique was probably part of a larger table setting. I do not know the name of the pattern. The bowl measures 2 1/2" high, has an upper diameter of 4 3/4", and a lower diameter of 3". The outside of the sides is a fine, ribbed texture, while the inside is smooth. The same with the stylized fruit vines on the bottom - the design is on the outside and the inside is smooth. T is a clear indented circle in the center of the bottom that translates into a raised circle inside the bowl. The "R Lalique" signature is part of the glass. It is quite difficult to see, but can be easily felt with the fingertip since the letters are higher than the surrounding glass. T are no scratches, dings, chips, or repairs. The item looks like it just came out of the studio. Please ask questions before bidding. Refunds are given within 7 days if the item is not as described or pictured above, but no refunds are given for "buyer's remorse." The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance on any returned item, and the item must be returned in the same condition it was received. USPS Priority Mail shipping for the US is $9, $18.60 for Canada, and $28 for Great Britain. Optional insurance is $4. Paypal payment is required within 7 days of auction completion.
