R.M.S. TAHITI CRUISE SHIP OCEAN LINER CREAMER 1920's

For sale a hard to find oceania collectible, a silverplated creamer from R.M.S. Tahiti which now resides in Davey Jones Locker. In 1911 the ship Tahiti was used for passenger voyages from Sydney to San Francisco. November 3, 1927 RMS Tahiti collided with the ferry Greycliffe and the Greycliffe sank, 40 lives were lost. On August 18, 1930 R.M.S. Tahiti sank and photos were taken of this dramatic event. T is a great web site with this information at www. /oceania_ tahiti _sinking/index.htm . The creamer measures 2 1/4" high x 3 3/4" long x 2" wide and needs a good polishing.
