A great R. S. PRUSSIA dresser box from the Bavarian or R.S. Prussia region of Germany with a beautiful hand painted roses and the clover mold design with what I consider an art nouveau motif. In searching Ebay I could not find anything similar to this dresser box except for Ebay item number 330206155228 so by looking at this completed listing, you can make your own comparison. We have had it for many years and although it doesn't have the red mark, the mold mark is identified in Gaston's Collectors Encyclopedia of R.S. Prussia on page 34 and I have included a photograph for your review. You will not see this item on Ebay very often. If you are looking for a different type of R.S. Prussia with an art nouveau influence for your collection or a stand alone decorative arts piece, this would be a great addition to your home. I will let you judge from the photographs. The dresser box measures approximately 6 inches long and 4 ¼ inches wide at the widest part and approximately 2 inches tall. Condition is as follows : Excellent condition for its age, no chips, dings, flakes, or hairlines. Some minor and I do mean minor gold leaf loss consistent with handling over the years. I hope I have provided enough photographs for you to see the true almost mint condition of this beautiful item. T is no reserve on this item. We are downsizing due to our age and you can take this item home for a bargain, if you are the only bidder. My auctions always reflect a flat rate shipping price because I feel people should know exactly how much they are going to spend overall. This item will cost $12.90 to assure safe delivery via USPS priority mail and that amount will include insurance and delivery confirmation. My auction items are sold "as is" which is the generally accepted auction standard (unless the item is grossly misrepresented) which is why my descriptions and photographs attempt to represent the items accurately, however bid with confidence because I do guarantee age and authenticity.
