THE LORD OF THE RINGS J R R TOLKIEN This is a hardback bound with maroon leatherette with gilt decorations to the front cover and spine. Published by Guild Publishing, London, in 1981. Back in the early 80's I became a bit of a Tolkien nut! This is my personal copy of the complete trilogy of the Lord of the rings, printed on thin "bible" style paper and beautifully bound. Condition is excellent although there are some minor stains on the opening edges of the pages - not visible when the book is open and no distraction whilst reading though In (almost) perfect condition from a smoke and pet free home. No marks or inscriptions. I package all items with great care and always send promptly - usually the same day payment is received!
