is my latest carved knapped knife. I carved a wolf paw print on the side of the base in relief. The handle is made of beautiful claro walnut with multi colors. The blade is rainbow obsidian from Davis creek, it was knapped by my Native American neighbor and friend Ron Saunders. The blade is hafted into the handle then wrapped with genuine elk sinew. The base is made of an old cow bone found in the Owyhee mountains by my wife and myself this fall. I also added a deer antler fork as the knife rest. It (the base) has been sanded smooth but I did not seal it in case the customer who buys it decides they would like the paw print colored in with stain.

It is a nice work of art . If not for you then maybe for that person who is hard to by gifts for! DON'T MISS OUT !

The knife measures 10 1/4 " long.

You will not find another piece like this in the world. It is A hand made one of a kind item not mass produced so t may be some small imperfections and t ( I call these creator marks). This just adds to the beauty and uniqueness of the item. Study the pictures well before bidding and be sure to ask questions before you place a bid. It is really a shame I have to even add this kind of thing into my descriptions but due to a few "bad apples" it has become necessary.
