Here is the latest new carved flaming eagle flintknapped obsidian knife from the studios of Robert Roberts! This is a AAA premium R2rockz /Saunders lithic fine art knife. This knife measures 11 " long measured in a straight line . Carved on the side in relief is one of my signature screaming eagles w flames. It has been stained to bring out the detail. It is signed and dated on the bottom.The handle is made of large white tail deer antler and has been stabilized and color enhanced.As you can see the color worked perfectly in complimenting the flames and the eagle carving. This eagle is my favorite so far this year. I enjoy everything about this knife, so will you! The blade is made of mottled pumpkin/mohogany obsidian, it was knapped by Ron Saunders. The blade is hafted to the handle and wrapped with sinew. Ron Knapps his blades with upward pressure instead of down like most. The result as you can see is Phenomenal. The uniformity, straightness, and edgework are all done with the utmost care and attention to detail (please check out Rons blades on ebay... User name "ronsaunders" store name OLD HOP TRADING POST).
