Note: "emovieposter" is only on our digital image, NOT on the actual item. Also, we are changing our photography setup! Images with a solid black background are ones that were photographed on our new black metal background. We now hold the posters in place with magnets (so we do not have to attach the poster to the wall in any way), which are small and round and resemble "push pins", but we assure you they are NOT! If an image has a black background, know that the odd circles in the edges of the item are magnets that hold it in place, and are NOT a defect! An Original Vintage Theater-Used Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") from The Carson City Kid, the 1940 Joseph Kane Nevada cowboy western starring Roy Rogers (in the title role as The Carson City Kid), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Bob Steele, Noah Beery Jr., and Pauline Moore Overall Condition: very good to fine. T are pinholes in the corners and one near the exact center of the card, but otherwise, the card is in excellent condition! Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and t is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card! Want to know more about the condition of this item? This card has only a few VERY minor imperfections. We may have written just a few words about those imperfections, but we may not have, as they are very minor. Note that we are very harsh condition graders, and that our "very good to fine" compares favorably to many dealers' "fine" condition! You should look at our "super-sized" image of the actual card, which will confirm just how nice this card is! Lobby Cards measure 11" x 14" and were almost always printed in sets of 8 (some lower budget movies only had a set of 4). Many lobby card sets (usually pre-1970 sets) have a "title card". A title card normally has artwork and the credits from the movie, and is different in appearance from the other seven cards in the set. The artwork is usually the same as that of the artwork on one of the styles of half-sheet. It is very difficult to find complete lobby card sets from pre-1970 movies, as almost all of these were long ago broken up and sold by the individual card. Special Notes About Our Current 700 Items... [Hide Details ] A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THE ITEMS IN OUR CURRENT TITLE & SCENE LOBBY CARD AUCTION: Normally when we sell lobby cards, we give a generalized condition grade of "fine or better", "very good" or "very good to fine", and "lesser" for each card, but FOR THIS SPECIAL AUCTION OF 503 GREAT TITLE CARDS AND 197 "BETTER" SCENE LOBBY CARDS , we have given a more detailed overall condition grade ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good", and "good", with only two graded "fair") along with some more details about the condition described in words (when we think that the defects are difficult to see in our super-sized image). We did this because we know that collectors will likely spend more in this special auction of title lobby cards than in our regular weekly auctions of lobby card sets, so we felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, so we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we de...
