Minted from two ounces of .999 fine silver, the devices are gilded in 24 carat gold and framed by a Burmese Jade insert. Total mintage worldwide was limited to 2.888 pieces. Comes as issued with a beautiful presentation case and a Certificate of Authenticity. In the coin reverse there is an image of a golden rabbit framed with a ring of Burmese Jade together with a Chinese inscription translating to “Luck and Happiness in the Year of the Rabbit”, the outer edge of this silver coin is ornate with a native floral design, a golden Chinese character and the year of issue. The obverse coin depicts the coat of arms of the Lao People's Democratic Republic with the nominal value inscribed below the image .
