I bought this back in the 70's and played with it. So it has been sitting on my shelf for many years, the car is working including the red light except when I tried it I was afraid it would brake down because of the way it sounds, so I only went forward and back 3 times and stopped playing/testing it ;-) I do remember fixing the motor drive gear with crazy glue awhile back, but if you had access to toy motor press on drive gears one could replace it as it did not look uncommon. The condition you can see in the pics. so .
