TESTED AND IN EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITIONTested it both with batteries (requires 4 AA batteries, not included) and AC adapter (if you use this BE SURE its a 6V adapter) and both worked excellently. The TRS-80 MODEL 100 was one of the first notebook style computers and sold for a pretty penny (@$3,000 in today's money if you adjust for inflation) back when it was first released. This was the last Microsoft product that Bill Gates developed personally. There are some invisible files in this unit that commemorate the designers of this model. Unit is very clean and shows only minimal wear, well cared for all of these years. As mentioned above, it is in excellent working order and has a clear display. Only notable wear are two very minor hairline cracks on the lower right and left hand edges (please see scans above) that do not affect the functioning of the unit whatsoever. When I first noticed them I thought they were actually tiny hairs which gives you an idea of how minor they are.Battery cover still intact and all ports are clean. The leather case is also in very good condition with just minor scuffs and rubs throughout. All velcro is still present and all the stitching is still strong. The manuals show obvious signs or wear that would come with a good amount of use but they are all whole and complete with no pages missing or loose. read more
