Original RAF RCAF Type G Oxygen Mask, size medium, with Loom. The rubber is pretty clean, flexible & free of major cracks & crazing. The brown suede lining shows average grime & soiling from use. The harness is soiled but retains elasticity, and has both helmet connectors (snaps on one side and the metal clip on the other). The nose wire & harness retaining wire are in good condition. This mask is fitted with a type 26 microphone (Ref No 10A/12570) in very good condition, except that the rubber sealing ring is gone completely (this can be replaced). The microphone is directly wired to an external wiring loom with light tan braiding, radio receivers (simply marked AM - the ref. numbers seems to have been printed but have worn off) and a bell jackplug (all in good condition). Includes oxygen hose complete with alligator clip fastener. This is a sound, very good example of this mask type used by the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Royal Air Force. Successful bidder - contact me for a shipping estimate and details following the close of the auction. Actual shipping costs only will be charged. T is no charge for packaging. Insurance can be purchased if desired. I accept no responsibility for uninsured shipments. Please review the photos carefully and ask any questions prior to bidding. This item is non-returnable.
