These items were let go by the family as they did not want to keep them any more. I do not require them so it may be usefull to somebody who like RAF history. The Auction Is For- Person items belonging to Aircraftman 1st Class L. lawson, Royal Air Force Volounteer Service 1. Framed award from the Secretary of State for air for being mentioned in the London Gazette for Distinguished Service 1st January 1946. 2. Mentioned In Dispatches Certificate signed by a Air commodore & Wing Commander( Lawson spotted a fault on a Wellington aircraft which would had led to serious incident if the plane had taken off. 3. 2 photographs of Lawson 4. RAF Beret with two brass buttons on the frond and side badge, inside marked NUGLOBAL 5. 4 Miniature Medals 6. A water colour painting done by Lawson depicting Commonwealth irman who gave their lives in the 2nd World War. 7. Tie Postage will be £10.00 due to the secure wrapping of the items and framed picture.
