Hello! Who's calling, please? It's RAID!!!!!!!!! Ka-Boom!!!!!!!!! Pretty sure you won't blow up if you use this phone, but the bugs will! This giant acid-green and slime-yellow bug is unsuspectingly carrying a big red bomb on his shoulders. You listen to the bomb and talk into the grill at the bug's feet in this touch-tone phone from the early 1980's.

The Raid Bug has been used in S.C. Johnson's advertising since 1956. It's a mean looking character with crossed eyes and a tuft of spiky black hair on its head. It's animators included many famous Hollywood artists, and its voice was portrayed by Mel Blanc.

I got this information from my research and thought I would include it as well. Great collectable item if you are into collecting advertising characters such as this gem. The phone works as well, tested and found it has a cute quiet sounding "chirping" type of ring, In pretty nice condition as well, no breaks or cracks but just some minor scratches and a few light scuffs. Doesnt really look to have been used much if at all. Great item to just keep on display with your collection. About 9 inches tall and made of hard plastic. Picking it up and setting it down operates the phone (the switch is onthe bottom base). I've shown a few pictures of this rare and very hard to find collectable below so you can check things out better.
