The auction you are bidding on is for a beautiful ORIGINAL MOVIE THEATER ADVERTISING POSTER for the FIRST INDIANA JONES movie RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, directed by STEVEN SPIELBERG, produced by GEORGE LUCAS and staring HARRISON FORD in 1981. This poster measures approx. 27" x 41" and was sent to a theater to use to advertise the movie. It is a real piece of movie history and a highly prized collectible. It is numbered at the bottom right and carries the National Screen Service disclaimer at the bottom. The poster is in Fine condition (see grading descriptions below) with very few flaws. It has been folded (by the distribution company when it was sent to the theater, as is the case with nearly all 1 sheet posters from this era) and has some wear at the fold joints with very light soiling at the middle crease in the bottom section. Otherwise this is a very beautiful copy of this iconic poster with no tears, pinholes or major creases.This is a great opportunity for you to own a piece of movie history and a must have for any Indiana Jones fan!Here is the grading scale I am using for the posters I am listing: FAIR:
