RAILFREIGHT DESIGN GUIDE by British Railways Board 1988, no. 2584 out of 3000 (if I remember correctly) The Railfreight design guide features all elements of the corporate identity of Railfreight. Railfreight was divided into 5 sub-sectors, each of which had a distinct graphic identity: Railfreight Distribution, Railfreight Petroleum, Railfreight Coal, Railfreight Metals, Railfreight Construction. The locomotives in turn had designs for their Depot Plates for instance: St Blazey (Class 37), Willesden (Class 86), Westbury (Class 56), Toton (Class 58) and Crewe (Class 47). There are a series of beautiful photographs of the respective locomotives in their new company livery, followed by a section on the design for the box wagons. The book is hardback and comes in a sleeve. The book is mint, the sleeve has some shelf wear, but is fine. Rare record of the end of a railway era.
