[U/7806] 2¼" square (6x6) negative - surplus to our A.E. "Dusty" Durrant Collection. Watermarks (not on original) have been applied to protect the purchaser. In 1949, whilst still a Premium Apprentice at Swindon Locomotive Works, Dusty Durrant began what he would later describe as his "World Bash" - 50 years of railway related occupation and travel through more than 50 countries. He wrote about his early experiences in the autobiographical work " Swindon Apprentice " (ISBN 1-8707-5410-7 or7-5410-1) and his images have appeared in many other publications. We are delighted to be able to offer a selection from this remarkable collection. It covers material from the railway systems of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, "Czechoslovakia", France, Germany (both DB and DR in the East) , Greece, read more
