This auction is for a natural color heart pattern halo stone from Jalisco, Mexico. The heart stone measures 1 inch tall and weighs 4.7 grams. It's made from naturally formed rainbow obsidian volcanic glass-like stone. The heart image is within the stone itself, formed by the brightly colored iridescent bands of reflective pyroxene characteristic of this species of obsidian. One of most beautiful minerals to come out of the Earth. The heart seems to shine, shimmer and glow from within as you view it in direct strong light. Lovely halo effect with shimmering colors.
