This pot is 6-1/2 tall to top of insert and 3-3/4 inches wide at the bottom. The insert I made by hand and is 5-3/4 square. The planting area is 2-1/2 deep by 2 wide and I will wicked it.T are a couple of glaze runs in the insert as I forgot to mark it will a pencil so it wouldn't run,but the runs will not show once you have your plant in it. I would like to make a statement about my raku when I state it is waterproof. I do not use a grogged clay. The clay I use I could also make the item food safe . I use a earthenware clay that most dishes you buy at the store are made of unless the items are porcelain or stoneware. I fire my bisque to 1950 F. and when I raku the items I fire to 1835F or higher sometimes. The glaze I use inside my items is a food safe glaze when fired to at least 1830Fas stated on the glaze bottle. I know most raku artists state the raku is not waterproof and it is an object of art, well I like to make my items practical as well as an object of art. Raku items are not food safe I only use a food safe glaze when I want an object waterproof just because I use the glaze inside my pots does not make the item food safe.
