Description ( revised ) This gorgeous Raku piece was handmade on the potter's wheel and measures 11" tall by 8" wide. Its beautiful variegated of red colors is from a red and copper rich glazes and lends to it's overall beauty that enhances the colors in this beautiful piece adding character as well. A great addition to any collection or a pleasing gift for a friend. The bottom is unglazed and turned black from the heavy reduction the piece was given during the post firing of the piece.All my pieces are wheel thrown 'one-of-a-kind' hand made originals. Though some of my pieces may look similiar I use no molds in creating them - only my hands! Couple that with the unpredictability of the raku firing process and "No two pots are ever alike"! Each piece created is a unique piece of art and is personally signed by me - yoge . Most pieces also have the 'Raku' symbol stamped on the bottom. All my work is of gallery quality!My pots are traditionally fired Raku pieces. By traditional I mean they are bisque fired, glazed, then fired to approximately 1800 degrees F.
