Green and red morocco title backgrounds on spines lettered in gilt, gilt lettering and decorative devices on spines in near perfect condition (trivial bit of rubbing at the heel), each top page edge is gilt, with no spotting and no scratches (see pics). Endpages are marbleized. No chips nor loss to leather. Interior of both is Fine (Pristine) with no previous owner's names nor other owner markings. Hinges sound and sturdy, with no binding issues. Tips and ends sharp, except lower front corner of volume one very slightly bumped. Pages and page-ends appear unhandled. Except there is a teeny tiny pushed-in place at fore-edge of a few middle pages of volume one. And page 319 has an accidentally
