This listing is for a beautiful vintage Sterling Silver flatware 70 piece service for 8, by Towle in the Rambler Rose pattern from the 1930's. Original set was purchased in 1948 when the couple married and it appears they later added individual butter knives pictured in the blue pouches below. The set is in very fine used condition. Must not have been used much, but then everything these folks had was immaculately kept and maintined. Quality all the way. The lined silver chest is in very good condition with minor scratches on the outside. This is a very complete set with a total of 70 pieces. This set can be found selling for $1500 and up at online replacement houses, the retail value is over $2000 according to my resources. 8 Place knives 8 Place forks 8 Salad forks 8 Place spoons 8 individual butter 16 teaspoons 14 serving pieces including those pictured below in 2 separate photos, even 2 tiny individual salt spoons in stainless GENERAL I am an eBay power seller and Trading Assistant. If an item becomes lost, you may never know what happened to it, only that you do not have it. Protect yourself! UPS shipments are insured automatically up to $100 value. I will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if USPS items shipped without insurance. I am happy to combine items for shipping whenever practical to do so without risking damage.
