This auction is for the exact knife shown--a brand new Randall Model 26-4 "Pathfinder" with the optional Model 25 style handle, 4" hand forged stainless steel blade, nickel silver guard and brown leather cover sheath. What sets this knife apart from all the others is of course the GENUINE ELEPHANT IVORY center piece. Randall does not supply ivory for their knives--you must purchase a LEGAL, DOCUMENTED piece of ivory, cut to Randall specs, and send it to them for fitting. They do not guarantee the ivory against cracking--if the piece you send them is flawed and it cracks then that is what you will get. I purchased this piece of ivory from a well known pistol grip maker. It shows dense grain and creamy coloration, and it is absolutely FLAWLESS--no cracks! FLAWLESS ivory handled Randall knives are very difficult to come by and command a premium price. This is your opportunity to obtain an outstanding, unique hunting knife without having to go through all the trouble of purchasing ivory, sending it to Randall and waiting nearly 5 years! This knife is brand new from the Randall shop--it was unwrapped for pictures only--never used, nor sheathed and you will receive all the wrapping papers.
