RANDALL MODEL 11 "ALASKAN SKINNER" "2nd to None" for Small and Large/Big Game What we have is a Randall "ALASKAN SKINNER. I have not seen, but few, offered on ebay recently. The Alaskan Skinner and the Yukon Skinner are SCARCE due to their prolonged actual use in the field by hunters. Unlike most Randall-Made Knives, these are "USERS" that last a lifetime If this Randall could speak it would say... USE ME!!!!!! MINT!!!! This is the 4 1/2 " blade model 1/4 " Stock 4 1/4" to 4 5/8" leather handle Duralumin Butt Cap with retainer nut Designed in 1952 Point dropped below top of blade to prevent cutting too deeply through skins when used point first Top of blade in front of the Brass hilt is "notched" for thumb placement and grip assurance Weight is 7-8 oz. for this 4 1/2" model Solid Brass Single hilt Handle is the perfect "Stacked Leather" Secure and non slip when gutting and skinning This Randall Made Knife is either left or right-Handed At Brass hilt, the Spacers are Red/White/Black/White/Thin Red At the Butt the spacers are thin Red/White Black Fine India Made In USA Stone Pewter Snaps Single Stitch Sheath Knife Deeply Stamped with Original Randall logo as is Sheath Type "A" Sheath Stacked Leather Sheath Green Knife Security Lanyard NOTE: Reflection of flash appears to indicate scratches.
