Thumb notch and top of hilt molded for thumb placement. Nickel silver hilt. Duralumin butt cap; Brass available upon request. Standard with natural stag. (Name etching, stainless blade, and wrist thong only options available.) Drop point hunter, similar to Model 11, but handle construction is reminiscent of 1930's design. Model 25-5" supplied with pouch sheath. Excellent skinning, outdoors knife. (Wt. 8 oz) My summary: this is a brand new Randall model 25 for consideration. The knife is in "as new" condition and without distractions. The blade is unused and perfect with it's factory edge -- notched on top for thumb placement. No handling on the nickel silver hilt or duralumin butt cap that merits mentioning -- the factory grease has been carefully removed. The stag between the stacked leather washers is deep cut and superb. The brown Sullivan model F pouch sheath is also new -- you'll find an unused plain salmon sharpening stone in the pouch. It should go without saying that the sheath has not been carried... but now I've said it anyway. I've paired this knife and sheath with a brand new green canvas and Cape Buffalo hide carry case that's as nice as the knife. It's well made and extremely durable -- a safe haven for the knife so you needn't pack it away in the sheath. T are 12 photos below -- the stag is awesome and I've tried to photograph it from every angle. Rest assured that I'll pack everything very well and ship this "out of sheath" in the carry case to it's new home.
