Up for auction: A beautiful, brand new Randall Made "Trapper" Model 25 drop-point hunter-style knife. This heavy duty knife is well suited for hunting/skinning and general outdoor/camping use. It has a 5" blade made of 1/4" Stainless Steel stock. The overall length is 9-3/4". The 4-1/2" handle is reminiscent of a 1930's design featuring leather/stag/leather. This design has been copied by many, but has never been equaled. The model 25 is like none other. The stag on this beauty is exceptional and deeply figured, providing for a hand-filling, secure grip on the knife. I have taken a picture of the handle from every angle to show the beauty of the stag handle. Thumb grooves are cut into the top edge of the blade for added control. The single hilt is made of the optional nickel silver and matches the silver/black/silver spacers and the duralumin butt cap. The knife's tang runs the full length of the handle and is fastened into the butt cap. The handle's butt cap is drilled to accommodate a wrist thong. This knife has never been used or carried.Included is a Sullivan/Randall Model A Sheath. Most Model 25's you see are outfitted with the Model F pouch/sheath, which (in my humble opinion) ruins the looks and the finish of this knife.
