A rare and old pin with the symbol of the Christian Scouts of YAFA.

YAFIA is a little Chrisitian village in the northern Galille part of Israel next to the sea of Gallille (Tiberias). In Yafia as in many villages in the area some Muslims live.

This artifact belongs to the Maximos Salloum Scouts group and one of the smallest groups of Scouts in Israel. You see, in Israel, each religion has it's own version (and budget, if any) of the famous scouts.

This pin was hand-made entirely in Israel :

First, t he master crafted the imprint of this pin (the “SHTANTZ”). Then, this pin was Drop- Casted on a quality metal plaque. After cutting the shape from the plaque the master welded a special pin in its back. To ensure superb quality the master then coated it in a special liquid.

The manufacturing of these artifacts was a time consuming process.
It was also a labor-intensive art.
