A very beautiful Medieval French or European limestone carving of the Nativity (Birth of Jesus). This carving depicts Christ birth in the manger with Mary and Joseph sitting atop buildings with and ox and donkey looking on. The carving appears to be from the 13th to 15th century and is bound by a hand wrought iron armature. This medieval carving was purchased from a weathy Estate in Texas, the owners traveled Europe in the 1950's collecting Art.
