This baker dates to the 1800s and is in perfect condition. Yellow ware bakers are rarely found and are highly collectable. The bright country mustard color of this early yellow ware baker is spectacular! This baker has a perfectly formed rounded rim making it easy to pick up without slipping out of your hands. Measuring 8 5/8" long by 6 1/2" wide and 2" high, this is a highly desirable small baker. Rectangular bakers are found less often than oval bakers and highly sought after. This is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The baker is an outstanding piece of yellow ware and a great addition to any country or yellow ware collection.
