** RARE** c1850 VICTORIAN 12K ROSE GOLD ORNATE LINK BRACELET-10GM I am so pleased to offer this ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS Antique Victorian 12k Rose Gold ornate link bracelet As always , the photos were taken in bright sunlight to give the best indication of the item, but it was overcast conditions hence the photos appear a little dull. The ornate double curblink style links are secured with a Victorian Fob , and is a TRUE ROSE GOLD and this is just stunning and will fit a wrist up to 9 INCHES ! .. HISTORY It is Circa 1850 by design and styling...and its links are solid curblinks ..the hand wrought links are so beautiful and they are SOLID NOT HOLLOW.. and this is a HIGH VICTORIAN piece. It looks stunning on the wrist, when being worn it is so comfortable to wear, while really making a statement !. This is for the larger wrist and measures over 9" in length and would fit from 7" - 9 " wrist.. It is not stamped for gold content but the outer surface tests positive for 12kt gold , and the findings are rolled gold but I was informed the chain is solid karat gold or gold shell..,and it certainly looks and feels like solid karat gold, especially with the beautiful patina . A Very old and beautiful heirloom indeed. The end ring is gold soldered to teh chain and is stamped SP inside a shield , similar to an Assay Mark and what appears to be SUPER and DOR DESCRIPTION & SIZING The links are a true rose gold , that antique rose gold .....and the patina is excellent as you would expect with quality antique jewelry.....this is just so SHINY ! The feel of this bangle is fabulous, it has that ultra smooth look and feel when putting it on, that usually is associated with solid karat gold... It measures just over 9" in length and can be shortened if desired and would fit a multitude of wrist sizes ranging from 7" up to 9" depending on how loosely fitted you require it. The individual links measure 5/16" and they taper down one end to 3/16" which is very subtle but quite effective .. Both sides of the chain are identical . T are no dings or dents in this piece due to its solid and quality construction... and the links are Solid not Hollow so will withstand a good deal of punishment.. and can be worn daily .. These were usually constructed from Victorian watch chains , and has been worn as a bracelet It has a Victorian FOB closure which has fantastic spring and tension , so this piece is wonderfully secure ! Just a gorgeous old piece.. It weighs approx 10 grams which further adds to its appeal! THis is a MUST for the antique rose gold collector,as these are becoming so hard to find these days. The pictures do not reflect the soft rose color of this bangle, and they appear faded and washed out, but it is just lovely... so very hard to photograph because of the shiny surface. so please check my feedback so you may feel confident bidding with me.
