we have a very rare cannonball coffee roaster marked: Woods Patent APR 17, 1849 Harringtons Imp't May 17, 1859 Roys & Wilcox Co. Astberlin Conn. The cannonball has been repaired with one half having a period patch over a triangular crack fastened with what looks like fashioned rivets of the early 1900's and the other half having two opposing repairs that look like a weld or smelter and are done on the inside and are virtually unnoticeable from the outside. Aside from these small repairs, the condition is very good for it's age and doesn't appear to have been subject to weather or moisture and doesn't have any pitting or deterioration to the cast iron. From what I am told from the cast iron collectors that I have emailed and talked to, we are very fortunate to be viewing this rare cannonball coffee roaster. We also have another unusual stove top coffee roaster up for auction at this time. sellers other auctions, for we have about 40 antique appliances and other kitchen related items up for auction at this time, with a few being new in the box. Many odd and unusual to rare items. We never charge and handling or packing fee as some do, and we charge actual shipping NOT INFLATED as some do. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* **SERVICES WE PROVIDE** FREE PACKING - no charge for packing material or handling
