Offered for bidding is an original 1852 print of an engraving of a painting done by P.F. Rothermel of Patrick Henry Delivering His Celebrated Speech in the House of Burgess,Virginia.A.D. 1765.The bottom also reads "Engraved For Presentation to the Subscribers to the Art Union of Phila. for 1852.T is a stamped seal of what looks like a kneeling artist above the word "His".I tried to photograph it,but without much luck.This print measures 28 1/2" x 21 1/2" in the frame.T is some water damage which looks worse in my photos than in real life.The paper on the back of the frame has become brittle and fallen off,but the backing is intact and fine.Print has no other damage other than the water marks on the bottom border.Please email any questions.Thanks.
