With the large influx of miners into Deadwood Gulch, Star and Bullock recognized the great need in Deadwood for a hardware store, securing a choice lot at the corner of Main and Wall Streets, and the business thrived, especially with Bullockâe(tm)s influence in the town (read up on Bullock on the Internet).
