Rare 1890s Spaulding Mens 28" Bicycle Shaft Drive Bike

Found in a very old estate in Pennsylvania is this Spaulding mens shaft drive bicycle. This is a very unusual bike, has shaft drive(No chain)! The rims are 28" and are wood. Seat is leather and is in very nice shape. This has an old gas lamp on it ,and super wood grips. This is just how we pulled it from an old barn loft,I put air in the tires and took it for a ride, its very cool. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding, and we will do our best to answer. We have found very little information on this but we believe it to be a very high dollar bicycle, which by the way we will sell just as found. NOTE* Buyer will pay professional packaging done by a local bike shop as we will not attempt to take this vintage beauty apart,or you may pick up in Binghamton NY. Sold to high bidder with NO RESERVE.Thanks for your interest! The actual spelling on the bicycle is Spalding. I did some research on this and found the company was only in business for two years. How many of these survived???? This could be the only survivor! Spalding-(D) A. G. Spalding & Brothers, Chicopee Falls MA, 1896-1898 RARE RARE RARE.
