In this lot I have to offer a very rare to find ground recovered colonial grenade. It dates c.1770. This artifact comes from the state of virginia and was recovered on private land. It is in stable condition and is not in danger of falling apart like those recovered from sea water can be. These were used through out the war to help attack defences and also on board ships when attacking other shipping. The grenade measures about 2 3/4 inches in diameter. It has a pronounced casting seam as it should. This is a very rare artifact that will add to any colonial collection. Thanks for looking.... Summary of My Selling Policies Refunds & Returns I offer a return policy with 100% money back. With a Liberal return policy. Please be advised If you damage the artifact after you receive it, it is yours. Artifacts are to be collected and preserved for the coming generations and are not to be used as everyday items. All of the artifacts that I sell are to be respected and considered FRAGILE! In other words if you have more money than respect for our heritage please do not buy from me! Less postage.
