Railway Routes In Alaska MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES TRANSMITTING MAPS AND PROFILES TO ACCOMPANY THE REPORT OF THE ALASKA RAILROAD COMMISSION MARCH 1, 1913 - Read, referred to the Committee on Territories, and ordered to be printed, with illustrations WASHINGTON GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE 1913 HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES 62d Congress - 3d Session Doc. No. 1346 - Part 2 General Description: Contained in their original slipcase are these government documents relating to the proposed and existing Alaska Railroad Routes as of 1913. Included are 16 MAPS and 3 Charts, all sequentially numbered as Plates 1 through 19. Map #1 (see photo) shows the territory with the other 15 numbered districts corresponding to MAP numbers 2 through 16. Charts 17, 18 & 19 show existing and proposed grade (elevation) for railroad routes. All Plates are as originally folded.
