1914 Pennsylvania Licensed Driver Badge #21984 measures about 2-1/2" wide and 1-11/16" high. Letters and numbers plus the Keystone are deeply stamped and highlighted with black paint. Stamped "PANNIER BROS. PITTSBURGH." on the back. I believe the badge is made of nickel silver or German silver. It has acquired a fantastic age patina that has gotten rubbed or scratched off or partially off in a few areas. Some paint loss to the serial number. The pictures should show the condition of this absolutely FANTASTIC FIND for the collector of very early automobile driver license badges. Offered with a very reasonable starting bid and NO RESERVE.
